Simple and easy buttercream that you can make in 5 minutes!
You can use this buttercream for decorating cakes and cupcakes, piping flowers, etc.
Easy Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter at room temperature
- 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp milk or heavy cream
Instructions:
- Sift the confectioner’s sugar in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes, until it’s pale and smooth.
- Add in the powdered sugar and beat until butter and sugar are incorporated.
- Now add vanilla and milk and continue mixing until it’s smooth and fluffy. (about 1 minute)
- You can use food coloring to dye the frosting and pipe it on your cakes and cupcakes.
