Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Simple and easy buttercream that you can make in 5 minutes!
You can use this buttercream for decorating cakes and cupcakes, piping flowers, etc.

 

Easy Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:
 
  • 1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp milk or heavy cream
 
Instructions:
 
  1. Sift the confectioner’s sugar in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes, until it’s pale and smooth. 
  3. Add in the powdered sugar and beat until butter and sugar are incorporated.
  4. Now add vanilla and milk and continue mixing until it’s smooth and fluffy. (about 1 minute)
  5. You can use food coloring to dye the frosting and pipe it on your cakes and cupcakes.
