What’s a weekend without a stack of french toasts?!
Fluffy on the inside and browned on the outside, these are the perfect breakfast for when you want something delicious, fast, and with no fancy ingredients!
Classic French Toast
Yields: 2 serving
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- half a cup of milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- half a tsp of cinnamon
- 4-5 sliced bread of your choice
- Unsalted butter or coconut oil, for frying
- Maple syrup or honey to drizzle on top
Instructions:
1. Beat the eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and milk together, in a shallow dish.
2. In a pan, melt about 1 tbsp of butter on medium heat.
3. Dip bread slices in the egg mixture and fry it until it is golden brown on both sides. Add more butter for frying if needed.
4. Serve with maple syrup, honey, or fruits of your choice!
