Have you ever tried golden milk? It’s a hot and creamy drink made of non dairy milk, turmeric, spices and honey. Some say it’s supposed to be relaxing and beneficial to your body, now I can’t guarantee that but I know it’s so delicious and smells heavenly!
Golden Milk Recipe
Yields: 1 cup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup non-dairy milk of your choice (I like cashew milk, it makes the drink so creamy)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground or fresh ginger
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions:
- Heat the milk until it starts boiling.
- Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, pepper and salt. Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes.
- Take it off the heat, add honey and vanilla extract and enjoy!
